Finch Sweet Basil Seeds 500g

Finch Sweet Basil Seeds, also known as sabja or tukmaria seeds, come from the sweet basil plant (Ocimum basilicum). They look like small black sesame seeds and have almost no flavour of their own.

Soaked in water for 10–15 minutes, they swell and form a soft, jelly-like coating – the signature texture in falooda, lemonades, milkshakes and summer drinks. Use them in desserts, puddings and smoothies, or as a flavourless thickener. Basil seeds are naturally high in fibre.
